Essential Oil Workshop

November 28 // 6pm

Coming into the thick of the holiday season, it is easy to get wrapped up in all of its craziness. Sometimes we forget to enjoy the actual meaning of the holidays and get too focused on the stress it brings.

This year we want to help avoid that. In this hands on and informative essential oil workshop, Cara Halber will talk to us about the basics of essential oil and what it takes to blend different recipes. We will be creating rollers of different blends to boost energy, for well being and to help reduce stress.

Cara is a registered holistic nutritionist, certified pastry chef and has a BSc in cell biology and genetics.

What you get from this workshop:

  • Knowledge on the use of basic essential oils

  • Learning to blend essential oils to create different recipes for different occasions

  • Your very own blends in rollers to take home

Bullet Journal Workshop

December 5, 2018 | 6pm

What is a Bullet Journal (or BuJo for short)?

"It's best described as a mindfulness practice disguised as a productivity system. It's designed to help you organize your what while you remain aware of your why. The goal of the Bullet Journal is to help its practitioners (bullet journalists) live intentional lives, ones that are productive and meaningful."

Starting a bullet journal can be intimidating. There's a lot of why's and how's that come along with it. Carolyn of @_pen_to_paper will provide us the tools to get started in time for the New Year.

“Forget about what you see online. It’s not about how it looks; it’s about how it feels, and, most importantly, how it works for you.”

What you get from this workshop:

  • Starter kit to create your own bullet journal (this includes a notebook, pens, ruler, etc.)

  • The knowledge and confidence to create a BuJo from scratch and the information you need to know to continue the habit long term
